Philosophy

The therapists at Health Hub go by this philosophy:

‘A Physician must be a Philosopher; it to say, he must dare to use his own reason and not cling to antiquated and book authorities. He must above all be in possession of the faculty which is called Intuition, and which cannot be acquired by blindly following the footsteps of another; he must be able to see his own way. The Physician who wants to know man must look upon him as a whole and not as a patched-up piece of work. If he finds a part of the human body diseased, he must look for the causes, that produce the disease, and not merely treat the external effects. Philosophy – the true perception and understanding of cause and effect – is the mother of the Physician, and explains the origin of all his diseases.’

Dr. Zulia Valeyeva-Frost,

MD, DMC DAc.

Zulia’s focus is on innovative approved energetic technologies that are aimed at activating body’s natural resources whether to heal old or on-going injuries or to regain functional freedom and flexibility.  She works holistically looking into other issues like stress, fatigue and detrimentally low energy levels.

As a qualified medical doctor, Zulia realised the limitation of the pharmaceutical approach, soon found alternative technologies which can treat with equal and often more superior results without side effects. After attaining her post graduate qualifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture she went to study the ancient art of healing in China where she saw a full integration between Eastern and Western medical approach.

In Zulia’s view, diseases can be prevented by changing life style & habits.  A healthy state can be maintained through good nutrition, exercise and stress control programs. Dr Zulia brings a high-tech German ‘Hair Bio-Profiler’ for wellness assessment. This is a bio-resonance test that identifies many parameters including environmental stress.

The principle technology that she uses is Interactive Neuromodulation in combination with Photobiomodulation. The Russian original technology was developed in late 80’s. It works on principles of an ancient Tibetan tapping technique using electrical pulses at specific frequencies, using biofeedback that interacts with the body adjusting the frequency to allow the body to focus on the cause of the pain or injury and jump starts the healing process leading to a faster recovery.

To add to the array of services, Zulia also works withs biophotomodulation therapy, to put simply - light therapy using low intensity non-damaging lasers according to the fundamental principles of Acupuncture. This is alongside of traditional Acupuncture.

Participating in professional conferences as a presenter of pain management and energy medicine, Dr Zulia is also an active member of social media in supporting therapists and teaching and educating the public.

With Zulia’s knowledge of modern medicine combined with deep human understanding rooted in ancient medicinal practices, no one is more committed to making you feel a thousand times yourself again.

...No one is more committed to making you feel a thousand times yourself again. Like a sexy, undercover bond girl, Zulia uses a space-age-sounding, three pronged attack: electronic acupuncture, intravenous light therapy and the latest gadget on the block, InterX...

Heather M Else.

BSc (Hons) Ost.

Heather is a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy, graduating in 2001 from the British School of Osteopathy with a BSc (Hons) Ost. Completed a postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy and Medical Acupuncture, she then became a registered member of the BMAS (British Medical Acupuncture Society).  Heather is also a trained and experienced Neuromodulation therapist.

The body is miraculous in the way it can heal itself as we challenge it with the stresses and strains of everyday life.   By maintaining the body structurally and getting it “to work properly” by relaxing things or straightening them it out it can begin to look after itself and work in a more efficient way.  As a skilled Osteopath, Heather follows the philosophy of treating the person as a whole and not just the disease/complaint but also understanding when to refer back to your GP or fellow practitioners, when Osteopathy can't help.

Heather believes that exercise is a very important adjunct to the manual therapy and She is also trained in level 3 Pilates, completing training with Pilates Training Solutions and the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
